Onboard Your Team

Manage your team within Hovi Studio by adding, editing, or removing members and assigning roles to ensure proper ecosystem access and collaboration within your organization. This ensures that the right members have appropriate access.

Roles

Hovi offers two distinct roles to manage access and permissions within the platform: Owner and Admin.

Owner

The Owner role has full, root-level access to the account. An Owner can manage all aspects of the platform, including:

Access to all ecosystems within the account.
Adding and managing Admins.
Handling billing and subscriptions.
Generating and managing API keys, etc.

Owners have complete control over the platform, ensuring that they can perform any action required to manage their organization’s operations in Hovi.

Admin

The Admin role is more focused and limited to a specific ecosystem. Admins can perform almost all functions within their assigned ecosystem, including:

Configuring settings and webhooks.
Managing and adding tenants and team members within the ecosystem.
Creating and managing credential and verification templates, etc.

However, Admins cannot manage billing or subscriptions. Their permissions are limited to operational tasks within the ecosystem.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure the following:

You are registered with the Hovi Studio.
You have completed the onboarding process, which includes creating an ecosystem.

Steps to Onboard Your Team

Sign in to your Hovi Studio account using your credentials.
In the Hovi Studio dashboard, click the “Team” tab in the left-hand navigation menu under the Organization section.
To invite a new member to your team, click “Add Member”.
Enter the email address of the person you want to invite and select the role you want to assign, i.e., Admin, and click Invite”.
